Appearances
After his debut role in Final Fantasy VIII in 1999, Squall has gone on to make appearances in a couple other interesting games. Following is a description of each game and the role that he plays in it.
「 Itadaki Street Special 」 Itadaki Street Special is a computer boardgame playable on the PS2. It was released on December 22, 2004 by Square-Enix, and features many well-known characters from the Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest Games. Squall Leonhart and Rinoa Heartilly are the only Final Fantasy VIII characters to make an appearance.

「 Chocobo Racing 」 (チョコボレーシング ～幻界へのロード～) Chocobo Racing is a go-kart racing game developed by Square for the PSX Console. It's initial release was in Japan in the March of 1999, but was soon followed by releases in North America and Europe later that year.
Squall makes his appearance as a special unlockable character. In order to obtain him, the player must complete the game on story mode twice, and then defeat him in a challenge race. He drives a car called The Tempest and uses the ability Gunblade.
