Game Description: As a teenager he has his share of concerns, but he manages to keep an upbeat attitude. he may seem simple-minded at times, but he has a strong sense of justice.
Simply put, Sora is Kairi's Love interest, and one of her best friends. When she lost her heart to the heartless, Sora was the one to save her. And when Sora turned into a heartless, she saved him. Their hearts are connected.
Kairi and Sora are continuously getting seperated through-out the game. It's an ongoing thing; Firstly when they leave Destiny Island, Sora, Kairi, And Riku are all scattered in different worlds. Sora finds Riku, and goes looking for Kairi. He finds her in the hollow bastion, asleep, without a heart. And after beating ansem Riku, he thrust the keyblade into his own heart. By doing this, Kairi's heart is returned to her, and Sora falls into Darkness and becomes a heartless. Kairi Recognizes him and saves him and they return to Traverse town. Sora continues on with Donald and Goofy to find Rikus heart and King Mickey, leaving Kairi once more. Once they defeat Ansem, and Close the door to 'Kingdom Hearts' Sora turns and sees Kairi standing on an island of sand which is dissapearing quickly beneath her. When they can't hold on any longer, Kairi's Island begins to sink. Sora Smiles weakly as he watches her drift away into the darkness, until he can no longer see her. awwwwwwwwww...so sad *sobs* =(
Riku

Mmmk, I know it's been said a gajillion million times already, but I'll say it once more anyway; It's Pretty obvious that Riku has a Crush on Kairi. Mmmhmmm. I mean think about it; He joins the dark side to save her, he attacks Sora--his best friend just to get her heart back(...of course, the fact that he's possessed for half the game does kind of explain that @.@;;). And what about all that "Soon Kairi, Soon" stuff? See! What'd I tell ya! And then at the End he tells Sora "Take care of Her" heheh. Kind of Makes you wonder about that comment at the begginning of the game, when you race him "The winner gets to share a paopu with Kairi". I think he meant it when he said it, but he knew how much Sora liked Kairi, and how She liked Sora back so he brushed it off as a joke. Yeshums.
