Blood type
Within the game insert, Squaresoft released various statistics of the main characters, one of which being blood type. Since Ellone is such a small character, she had no profile in the book, nor had they released her blood type. The blood types of the other characters, however, seem to have been chosen based on the Japanese blood type theory of personality. Using this theory, and a blood type character analysis found here, I chose what I believe is the blood type that suits Ellone the most.

Blood type A: I have bolded the qualities which I believe describe Ellone the best:

Law-Abiding, Careful, Sympathetic, Self-Sacrificing, Polite, Honest, Loyal, Emotional, Introverted & Nervous. Are reserved calm and even-tempered. Sensitive to public opinion. May be Introverted, shy and nervous or ill at ease with others. May be Pessimistic. Value relationships and are loyal. Hesitant to change. Nature lovers and dislike crowds - need a private place or secret hideaway. Can be indecisive. Good at team work and obey rules.

Ellone is a very sympathetic and caring character. She can't stand Raine's pain at not being able to show Laguna their son, and sets out to find a way to change it. She would rather that Laguna had stayed with Raine than to have him come save her. She wanted them to be happy, even at the expense of her own life. Her relationships with Raine, Laguna, and Squall are some of the most important things to her in her life, and she has a lot of trouble accepting that they can not be a family the way that they once were.

Contrary to what it may seem, Ellone is very loyal. Each time she deserts the ones she loves, it is not her choice to do so. Initially, she is kidnapped away from Raine and Laguna. Then, she is sent away from the orphanage where Squall is. She never forgets them, however, and spends her life searching for a way to bring them back together.
